My Autumn fashion, beauty and more essentials!

So we're now seeing our last days of summer and are soon going to be into the first days of Autumn. Even though I'll be sad to see Summer go, I'm excited for Autumn, because it's always been my favourite season. I love all of the colours that come with it and love the fact that it gives me more of an excuse to curl up in bed with a hot chocolate and a book... or to go on tumblr.

I decided that today I would share with you all my own personal Autumn essentials. This doesn't mean that you can't modify it in your own way, and by all means do what you like with it; this is just what I personally think is important during Autumn.

The first thing I would say is definitely important is warm and comfortable clothing, because there's nothing worse than being cold AND uncomfortable. In these pictures I am wearing simple black leggings (age fifteen) from New Look, a red blouse with pretty intricate patterns on it (size ten) from Yumi, and over the top of that I'm wearing a simple knitted creamy white jumper (size ten) from New Look. I think that they are the perfect items of clothing for Autumn when it can get quite cold, and over the top of the jumper if it got incredibly cold I would throw on any coat or jacket that I have, because this look goes with most things.

The next things in my Autumn essentials are nail polishes.
I find nail polishes can completely transform your look depending on what colour or pattern you choose for your nails. I usually just go for plain, simple coats of nail polish rather than spending time on a design, but when I do, I paint stripes over the top, just to give it a more quirky look. In Autumn, I think it's all about reds, oranges and yellows because of the leaves changing colour, but if you get the right colour of green then that can work too. I'm a big fan of green anyways, and usually wear that colour on my nails. The nail polishes I've shown are:
Mint green- Barry M
Bee- Barry M
Red- Beauty UK

Next on my list is lipsticks!
In Autumn, on the lips I think it's time to start wearing darker reds and pinks, and also oranges too. These lipsticks shown are very nice colours that in other seasons I'd wear out for special occasions, but in the Autumn I think it's more acceptable to wear them casually everyday. The two in the picture are:
Pinkette- The Body Shop
Rose Passion- Rimmel

Sticking with lips, next in my essentials are lip balms.
These lip balms are from nspa, whose lip balms I love. They're so creamy on the lips and taste and smell delicious. They stay on for a long time without wiping off easily, but don't get sticky. The three I have are Raspberry, Mango, and my favourite, Shea Butter. I think it's important to have lip balms in Autumn because it starts to get colder, and I often get chapped lips.

Next is hand creams.
It's important to have hand creams because my hands get cold very easily and then start to chap and dry out quicker, which can become very sore. I love these Ted Baker hand creams as they leave your hands feeling super soft, and I find that they help to prevent the chapped skin. They also smell amazing which is a definite plus, and I got these as a present in a set so I have a smaller travel sized one which is perfect for carrying in bags, and I'm going to start to take it to school. The bigger one is good to keep at home in my room for whenever I need it or I feel like my skin needs a pick me up.

Next is fragrance.
I enjoy having fragrances that I feel almost match the season, which sounds pretty stupid now that I've typed it out. Still, I've chosen a fragrance from Soap and Glory which I got in a set of three, and this is my favourite one. It smells almost mature, I guess, but could be used by anyone. To me, it reminds me of Autumn, and has a quite sophisticated smell that you'd expect out of something really expensive. I'm not sure whether you can buy this scent on its own, but I'm still glad that I bought the set of three because otherwise I wouldn't have been introduced to this scent.

Next is... FLUFFY SOCKS!
I think this is one of the most important parts of my Autumn essentials, as I just love fluffy socks. These ones are from Primark, and cost about a quid, and I couldn't say no because fluffy socks are my weakness. They are incredibly soft and perfect for when it's cold because they keep your feet nice and toasty.

Finally, the last thing is a good book and some music you enjoy listening to, and curling up in bed.
This is my favourite part, because you can even get some hot chocolate if you feel like it. The music playing on my Ipod in the picture is Fall Out Boy, one of my all time favourite bands, and the book I'm reading is Skin Deep by Laura Jarratt. It's an amazing book, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Okay, this is all in my Autumn essentials. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this :)

I went to Spain!

This holiday I went to Spain with my Mum, dad, brother, Aunt, Uncle and cousin (who's five). We stayed in a campsite called Playa Montroig which my grandparents actually found by accident back in the 70s. My family has been going there for years now, and this year was my sixth year going there. It's a lovely campsite with its own beautiful beach, and an amazing pool. We stayed for two weeks, and also visited France for a few days.

This is the pool at the campsite; I took this picture at night as I was walking past.

This is the pool during the day time, where there are plenty of slides to go on.
This is the beach at the campsite.

As well as staying in the campsite, we also visited Tarragona and Cambrils, two places that are nearby the campsite. The picture below is me at Cambrils :)

Another thing we did was go to Port Aventura, which is a theme park near Playa Montroig. It is absolutely amazing, with loads of great rollercoasters. My personal favourite was Dragon Khan, which does loads of loops, and I did it three times! There were also other rollercoasters that I went on too, like El Diablo, Stampida, and Furious Baco. Another rollercoaster that was there that I couldn't go on due to back problems was the Shambhala, which is the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in Europe with the biggest drop.
The red rollercoaster is Dragon Khan and the white one in behind is part of the Shambhala.

All in all it was a really great holiday, and I had loads of fun with my family. My favourite part definitely had to be Port Aventura and all of the rollercoasters, but I love Spain anyways. The weather was great and for the first time in my life I got a tan!

Thanks for taking the time to read this :)
